FAQ

Your cookies look great, how do they taste?
    
If you think they look great, they taste even better! All of our cookies are flavoured naturally with fresh ingredients, not extracts.
What type of cookie is it?
    We do not use a plain sugar cookie, you deserve something better. Instead we have worked to develop a special cookie very close to a shortbread in taste, that is both tasty and durable enough to ship coast to coast. We have now developed variations of the original recipe to give more flavour options.

Do you bake your own cookies?
    
Yes, all of our cookies are baked from scratch on site.
Can my cookies be delivered/shipped?
  
  Yes, we deliver within the Winnipeg area (charges apply) and ship across Canada & the USA.
How well do the cookies ship?
    We have not had any cookies broken during shipping, as we pack them between layers of bubble wrap. With that being said we usually ship a few extra just in case there are any damaged.
How much notice do I need if placing an order?
    We prefer if you book your orders as soon as possible, so as not to be dissapointed. Normally we can produce your order with about a w
eek's notice (sometimes accomodate shorter notice). During peak times or when we are working on one of our larger orders (thousands at a time), we may not be able to fit in your request. For orders being shipped outside of Winnipeg, we prefer two weeks notice as this way we can usually reduce shipping cost by shipping ground, saving you money.
What type of photograph / image do I need to provide?
  We recommend providing a graphic of at least 1 MG. DO NOT USE PHOTOS FROM FACEBOOK, TWITTER or from CAMERA PHONES - THEY WILL NOT WORK as the quality / resolution is too low. Digital files usually work best, but we can work from original photos.

Are there any special handling instructions after I receive my order?
    Cookies are perfectly fine at room temperature and do not need to be refridgerated. We do not ssuggest freezing cookies as moisture could form inside the bags and damage the image. The only special instructions areDO NOT leave them in direct sunlight as they can fade. Cakes with pudding filling need to be refridgerated as they are made with fresh milk.

What if I want something I do not see on the website?
    
We do take special orders and some of products we now offer come from special requests. Just ask and we will always try to find a solution for you.
What do you accept for payment?
    Unless previous arrangements have been made all orders are pre-paid. We accept cash, cheque, Interact, Visa and Mastercard & AMEX.
What are your store hours?
       Our new Winnipeg location at 791b Corydon Avenue is now oprn. The store hours are Tues-Sat 11-5. Arrangements can be made for pick ups outside these times by appointment.
What is your cancellation policy?
    
Orders cancelled within 7 days of order date will be refunded less 50% cancellation fee. Orders cancelled after 7 days of order date will not be refunded. If you need to move back the order date there is generally no fee as long as it is within a reasonable amount of time.
How long are the cookies good for?
    Bagged cookies are good for at least 30 days, although we have tasted them after this time and are still fresh.
How should I store my cookies once I recieve them?
    
Cookies should be kept in a cool dark place.
My cookies are not all exactly the same?
    
Please keep in mind that all of our cookies are handmade and there be slight variations in size / thickness, as well during processing there may be slight color variations. We do our best to make sure all cookies are the same.
The colour on my cookies is not exactly as the original photo?
  While we do our best to match the original colours, cookies are printed with edible food colours and an exact match is not always possible. As well the quality of the photo you provide directly affects the end result. In order to get the highest quality possible, please provide a high quality graphic at least 1 MG.
What is your privacy policy?
    We do not sell or provide customer information to any third parties. Customers who wish to join our email advertising can do so by their request.
 What is your policy if my shipment arrives late?
  While we always do our best to ensure orders are received in time, there are some things beyond our control like shipping delays by the shipping company, weather delays & customs delays. We can not refund for things outside our control. We suggest placing your order early if it being shipped as we always allow for a few extra days in the shipping process in case of delays, as long as we are given suitable notice of the order. Claims based on the above mentioned should be directed to the shipping company which usually is Fed Ex.
